Sainik School  Admission 2024 Application Form

In order to successfully complete the application process, one need to follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Online Registration

  • Visit the official website of  All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) i.e aissee.nta.nic.in 
  • Click on the “ AISSEE 2024 Application Form”
  • As per school record enter the details such as Candidates Name/ Mothers Name/ Fathers Name, Official Date of Birth in dd/mm/yyyy.
  • Enter one of the identification details such as School ID card or PAN Card or Aadhaar Number (last 4 digits), Passport Number or any other Photo Identity Card issued by the Government
  • Now enter the valid email id and mobile no. and complete communication address. 
  • Registration will be done and a login id will be generated.
  • Use the login id to access the account and complete the process. 

Step 2: Fill the Application Form

  • Enter the details such as choice of the school, the choice of the examination cities. 

Step 3: Upload The Scanned Images

Photograph Specification 

  • Passport size Photograph with white background   in JPG or JPEG format (size: 10 kb to 200 kb)
  • Must be taken on or after 1 st July 2023.
  • Photographs must clearly indicate the date of taking the photograph.
  • No caps or goggles are allowed in the photograph
  • The photographs need not be attested.
  • Note: Same Passport size photographs are to be used for uploading with Online Application Form and for pasting on Attendance Sheet at the Examination Centre/Admission

Signature Specification 

  • The signature must be in the white background between 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG or JPEG format.
  • Full signature in running handwriting

Left-hand thumb impression

  •  Left-hand thumb impression on white paper with Blue Ink.
  • File size must be between 10 kb and 50 kb in JPG or JPEG format. 
  • Caste certificate,  domicile certificate or service certificate or birth certificate file size must be between 100 kb to 500 kb in JPG or JPEG format.

Step 4: Payment of the application fee

  • One can pay the application fee in an online mode through  Debit/Credit Card/Net-banking/UPI
  • Rs 400 /- for SC/ST and Rs 550/- for all others.

For admission to Class IX

  • Age must be between 13 and 15 years as of 31 March 2024 i.e. must be  born between 01 April 2007 and 31 March 2009 (both days inclusive)
  • Admission for Girls is not open for Class IX.
  • Must clear Class VIII exam from a recognized school at the time of admission.
  •  Candidates must secure a minimum of 25% marks in each subject of the exam and 40% marks in aggregate of all the subjects of AISSEE. The final selection is on the basis of merit. 

Note: For classes VI and IX no minimum marks are there for the reserved category students
